Our Process
Introductory Phone Call
Our process starts with a complimentary 15-minute phone call
This gives us a chance to get to know each other, answer your key questions, and see if we should work together.
Meeting 1: Destination
The Destination meeting focuses on answering these two questions:
"Where are you headed?"
"Where would you like to go?"
Before we can give any specific advice or recommendations, we need to have a clear picture of your current financial circumstances as well as your goals or desired outcomes from our work together.
Meeting 2: Design
The Design meeting is centered on:
"How are you going to get there?"
Our team has already analyzed your plan and run the numbers to determine potential courses of action.
This Design meeting is where we walk through those options together to determine your strategy.
Meeting 3: Deploy
This is the fun part:
Taking Action
We lay out clear action items and work through the implementation of your plan together.
We coordinate with other professionals, as needed.
Periodic Reviews and Check-Ins
At least annually, we’ll meet to review your progress, make any adjustments, and stay on track to achieving your goals.
How Much Risk Should You Take?
Most investment risk assessments are archaic fill-in-the bubble questionnaires designed to lump people into cookie cutter categories.
"Conservative", "Moderate", or "Aggressive".
We know that each person's investment preferences are unique; shaped by past experiences, goals, timelines, and account balances.
That's why we take a quantitative approach to pinpointing your Risk Number® by going through a series of objective exercises based on actual dollar amounts.
